For 2019 British GT Championship stalwart's TF Sport moved to the new Aston Martin GT3. Joining Graham Davidson in one car was reigning British GT champion and superstar of the series Johnny Adam.

The car looks fantastic in its matte blue scheme, reproduced faithfully here by Scalextric. And of the GT3 field it is not only the class around the British circuits but also your Scalextric track at home. A contender for the 2019 title this Aston Martin is a real performance car.

The new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 has already proved to be a success on track. With the famous Garage 59 team switching over from a rival manufacturer to run the Aston Martins as a customer entry, the team debuted its new cars at the Monza round of the Blancpain Endurance Championship and at the second round at Silverstone the car was driven by Chris Goodwin, Alexander West and Top Gear presenter Chris Harris. The car ran well and finished 33rd overall, third in the AM cup for amateur drivers.

For the first time in 2019 the Ford GT GTE was adorned with a retro inspired livery. The number 67 car raced at Daytona with this fantastic Castrol livery. Piloted by Scott Dixon, Richard Westbrook and Ryan Briscoe the car finished fourth in the hotly contested GTLM class. Built to contest the 24 Hours of LeMans race the Ford GT GTE is a very potent GT car, with class wins at all of the endurance classic events, including Daytona and LeMans.

An icon of LeMans the Ford GT40 was integral to the Ford VS Ferrari wars of the 1960s and even today the Ford GT40 remains a staple of historic racing. A major star of events such as Goodwood as well, in this case, races across the USA such as the Monterey Historic the car is still a real spectacle to see both on track and on the Scalextric track. This GT40 looks resplendent in its red paintwork, almost mimicking the Ferraris which it helped to defeat in the 1960s.

A regular sight in European Rallycross in the early 1990s this Camel sponsored Ford Sierra RS500 was piloted expertly on the tarmac and shale mix tracks of the ERC by Norwegian Bjorn Skogstad. Locked in an epic tussle with Rallycross hero Kenneth Hansen the yellow RS500 often came out second best to Hansen's green example. But the livery and exuberant driving style means that this is a sure-fire winner on the Scalextric track.

The 1979 Australian Touring Car Championship was won by this, the ASF sponsored Holden Torana of Bob Morris. Winning four of the eight rounds that year the Holden A9X proved to be dominant force, with the same type of car winning all four of the other rounds. Forever enshrined into Australian racing folklore the car was well known for its sideways action and thrilling races.

The first of Tyrrells own cars the 001 saw its debut in the Canadian GP of 1970. Qualified on pole by Jackie Stewart the car proved at first to be fast but unreliable, retiring with a broken axle while leading. But Formula One was soon to be taken by storm by this small UK team, with the same design taking Stewart to the title in 1971. This icon of Formula One history is now available for the first time in Scalextric form, appearing as it did at that first Formula one race in Canada.

For 2019 the Silverstone based RAM Racing adorned their Blancpain endurance challenger with this amazing art car inspired paint job. Raced at Monza by Tom Onslow-Cole and Remon Vos the car performed well and certainly looked fantastic, even against a background of a very, very wet Italian weekend. Now you too can add this amazing Mercedes supercar to your line up, the Mercedes AMG GT3 is right at the front of both Scalextric racing and real GT3 competition.

One of the most famous road races of all time the Targa Florio was a gruelling 10 lap race around the public roads that wind their way round the island of Sicily. In 1967 it was a round of the international manufacturer's championship, and cars from all over the world flocked to compete.

This glorious 412P was entered by Herbert Muller and Jean Guichet, but sadly suffered a differential problem on the tortuous route and failed to finish. But a car as wild and as exciting as this prototype racer surely looked just as amazing on the mountain roads as it does on your Scalextric track!

In his first season of BTCC racing newcomer Michael Crees really surpassed expectations. Taking a number of points finishes the Kent man did superbly well in the team HARD ran VW CC. In only his third season of car racing he was quickly a fan's favourite and this brightly coloured car looks every bit the BTCC contender.

In High Detail, with working lights and magnatraction, this VW CC makes a great addition to the BTCC Scalextric collection.

While it is of course synonymous with racing in the USA the Ford Mustang also saw some excellent results in the United Kingdom as well. Irish racer Martin Birrane, later to successfully run Lola, raced this car in the 1972 British Saloon Car Series. An ex Tran-Am development car Martin raced it successfully both in the British series and in Group-2 races across Europe. Its 5-litre engine helping to propel it along at some speed!

On the Scalextric track this awesome American muscle car will be equally at home fighting off Camaros and Escorts as it was on the racetracks of the 1970s.

A staple of the historic racing scene the Ford Lotus Cortina is a regular at the Goodwood Revival, with the public taking a real shine to this example. At Goodwood established racing drivers often do battle not just with each other, but also celebrities. In this case Howard Donald from Take That was to be found behind the wheel of this beautiful grey Lotus Cortina.

Expertly prepared by the Jordan Racing Team the car was shared by 2013 BTCC champion Andrew Jordan and his father Mike. Howard is however the regular driver and 'everything changes' when outside of the Goodwood races when he is 'back for good' behind the wheel.

The Mustang GT4 has for 2019 made a real impact on the British GT championship. New team RACE performance have entered this strikingly coloured example and have two excellent young drivers at the wheel. Aron Taylor-Smith has lots of previous BTCC history as well as a stint in the Blancpain Sprint series. While Sam Smelt has also BTCC races to his name. The team has had a successful 2019 campaign with the car performing well in the tough GT4 category. The Mustang is a big powerful car, and one that looks great on the tarmac and the Scalextric track.

One of the most famous and iconic sponsors in motorsport history, Gulf are synonymous with winning and GT racing. As are Lotus. With the Evora they have a ready built GT4 contender, and in the hands of Stanbridge Motorsport in this years GT Cup series the car has proved not only to be a great looking machine, but a brilliantly liveried one too.

For 2019 WSR and BMW moved away from the trusty 1-series BTCC car and developed a brand new car based upon the 330i M-Sport. This car has proved to be the class of a very competitive BTCC field. Its design and RWD platform, coupled with some excellent driving skills of Colin Turkington it triumped to win Colin a fourth BTCC crown in a nailbiting finish. Here in Scalextric form it is a sure fire hit against the other BTCC cars in our range.

A new tool for Scalextric, the famous Aston Martin V8 has now featured in two Bond films. Making its debut in the Living Daylights the car returns in 'No Time To Die'. A big beast of a GT car the V8 was a mainstay of the Aston Martin range throughout the late 1970s and 1980s as well as being Bonds car of choice.

While the car features no gadgets in the latest installment, its speed and beauty are enough to make it an essential Bond car.
